About Me

My Story
I first picked up the pipes at the age of seven, starting out with the Dumbarton & District Novice Juvenile Pipe Band and working my way up to Grade 2. Piping runs deep in my family - with my brother and cousins also on the pipes and my sister a Highland dancer - so music and tradition has always been woven into our lives.

Family gatherings were never quiet affairs. Christmas, Hogmanay, birthdays... there was always music, dancing and the sound of the pipes filling the room. Those moments made me proud of where I come from, and they're why I cherish every chance to play today.

For me, piping isn't just about tradition or performance - it's about connection. I love the power it has to move people: from goosebumps as a bride walks down the aisle, to comfort and dignity at a farewell, to sheer joy at a celebration. Every time I strike up the pipes, I aim to create a moment that will be remembered long after the last note fades.
